A cramped laundry reworked with smart joinery to hide appliances, add bench space and make everyday washing easier.
The family needed to accommodate an elderly parent moving in, which meant the existing step-in shower was no longer safe to use. The adjoining laundry was also cramped, with the washing machine and dryer taking up most of the visual space and little storage for everyday items.
We redesigned the bathroom around a step-free, accessible shower with grab rails at regulated heights, and reworked the laundry with custom joinery to conceal the appliances and add bench and storage space without reducing the room’s usable floor area.
New bathroom and laundry layouts, accessible step-free shower with grab rails, custom laundry joinery, three coats of waterproofing, tiling and fit-out across both rooms.
The family now has a safe, accessible bathroom for their parent and a laundry that finally works for daily life, completed over 6 weeks.
The team was outstanding once again, no hesitations in recommending the Stellar Team.
